Meet the Afternoon/Evening Team

Below are our therapists who work the afternoons and evenings from 1:30-8:30

Todd Jones

Physiotherapist

Todd’s treatment theory:

There is no cookie cutter way to treat anyone. Everyone is different. Thorough, clinical decision making is at the highest importance for how I treat my clients.

  • Enjoys treating: I have a special interest in treating shoulder injuries!
  • Would tell future clients: No one has to live with pain, and there are very few pathologies where rest is important. So let’s get you moving as soon as possible.
  • Favourite saying: “Everyday is a new day to make a change”

After spending the first chapter of his life in Saskatchewan (Go Riders), Todd moved to Alberta to pursue a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Alberta. Todd’s treatment principles focus on education, exercise and movement, and manual therapy, including Functional Dry Needling (FDN). Significant past injuries of his own inform Todd’s specialized knowledge and keen interest in shoulder, knee, and ankle rehabilitation. Todd aims to create a sense of empowerment with his clients by giving them the tools they need to build autonomy to self-manage and promote injury prevention.

Mike Azzopardi

Physiotherapist

Mike’s treatment theory:

Understand the why, small things are the big things, trust comes first.

  • Enjoys treating: sport related injuries, knees, low backs, and complex cases.
  • Would tell future clients: think big picture, prioritize prevention, and breathe.
  • Favourite saying: “Movement is freedom, be free”

Prevention, rehabilitation, and performance form the cornerstone of Mike’s treatment approach. His focus lies in improving foundational movement patterns to improve energy efficiency and increase ease of movement. Coupling this with flexibility and a strong strength base, can bring performance to another level. He is passionate, dedicated, and strives to inspire others to achieve new heights.

Jordan Alexandre

Massage Therapist

Jordan’s treatment theory:

  • Enjoys treating: Your body has the ability to heal itself from an incredible amount of injury and illness; sometimes it just needs a “push” in the right direction!
  • Would tell future clients:

Neck, shoulder and back issues and sports, postural or surgery related restrictions.

  • Favourite saying: “Living the dream!”

Jordan graduated from the 3000 Hour Registered Massage Therapy Diploma program at Vancouver Career College in B.C. in 2019. During his time at VCC, Jordan treated various patients from high level athletes to seniors. Jordan uses a variety of techniques, such as deep tissue, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations, myofascial release, scar tissue mobilization, lymph drainage, passive stretching, neuromuscular therapy and many more that allow him to meet the goals of his patients. Jordan has a patient-centred evidence based approach to treatment, and works with his patients to come up with treatment plans and specific goals that are right for them. Jordan likes to provide simple and effective home care exercises that clients can do to self-manage their conditions when not in the clinic. Coming from an athletic and journeyman trades background before massage therapy, his knowledge of the kinds of injuries and conditions that are associated with a physical career or athletic training assist patients in getting the absolute most out of their treatment time. Jordan’s ultimate goal is to help clients get back to doing what they love, pain free, and hopefully with a little more pep! Outside of the clinic, Jordan is extremely passionate about the sciences and enjoys sports, technology and the outdoors.
