Physiotherapy - Initial Assessment

If you are a new client at our clinic or are experiencing a new injury, we ask that you please book in for an initial assessment. This ensures that your therapist has enough time and information to thoroughly assess you and get to the root of your pain.

Your initial assessment will typically consist of a brief chat with your therapist to help them understand what you are dealing with, as well as an initial treatment that will allow them to physically assess you as well.

Regular Assessment Rate: $110
1 Hour Assessment Rate: $145

Physiotherapy - Regular Appointment

For any existing injuries/follow up appointments, we ask that you book in for a regular appointment. This is a 30 minute appointment that will consist of hands on therapy as well as treatment modalities. Your therapist may also provide you with at home exercises to aid in your recovery.

Osteopathy

Our osteopathy appointments are offered by Rebecca See, who is also one of our registered massage therapists. Manual Osteopathic Therapy is a specialized form of manual treatment that has been around since founder Andrew Taylor Still's epiphany in 1874. Osteopathy is a form of non-invasive treatment that focuses on total body health to facilitate healing. It can be used to treat acute or chronic pain, joint mobility or soft tissue damage. The practice of Osteopathy considers the body as a whole unit, capable of self-healing and self-regulating, it addresses both structural and functional concerns. Manual Osteopaths recognize the body's capacity for protecting, repairing, and regenerating itself and help facilitate healing from many somatic dysfunctions in the body. Manual osteopathy is safe for clients of all ages. Osteopathy treatments are covered by health benefits if applicable.

You'll want to arrive hydrated and wearing comfortable clothing such as gym or yoga attire. We take an educational approach to help you understand your body's underlying issues and induce relaxation.

FAQ

We do offer direct billing for all services except for the Magnetolith treatments and Osteopathy. Unfortunately these services are not available to us through eclaims. These will have to be submitted on your own for any potential reimbursement.

Direct billing is always subject to your own plan allowances. Some plans do not allow payment to the clinic, meaning you will have to pay and be reimbursed.

Any amounts not covered by extended health care are the clients responsibility to pay at the end of treatment.

This will depend on what area of your body you are getting treatment for, however, we will typically recommend loose fitting clothing that can give your therapist access to the injured area. At the end of the day though you can where whatever you’d like, we always have some fancy shorts and t-shirts available at the clinic to be used when needed.

You may want to look into your plan requirements to see if this is the case for you.  We are not able to look into any client’s plan eligibility so we recommend checking yourself before your first visit to avoid having to pay out of pocket.
